Wow! Plucked one right underneath the Huskers' noses! Go Mangino and Co.! Go Hawks!

From the article, it really didn't look like the Huskers were interested.

That may be true, but K-Suck and Colo. sure were. It's still a great sign that, regardless of whether Nebraska is interested or not, we can go up there into their territory and sign someone. If you don't recall, they used to get a lot of Kansas talent. The fact that we can return the favor is extremely promising--you think TA would have ever been able to do that?? rock chalk!!

Another big body at tight end. Hopefully one of the two new tight ends is a playmaker, if not both.

Welcome to the brotherhood Mr Biere. You will become a strong addition to our front line.

Back in the old days, prior to setting recruiting limits, Nebraska would have recruited this kid even if they thought he was unlikely to ever break the 2-deep. They would recruit him just to keep him off some other BIG 8 squad. They really can't pull that %#*^ anymore.

Anybody we take from K-State is fine with me.

It's only an oral committment. Let's wait until he actually signs.
