Texas A&M slips by K-State

KSU standout Walker limited to just five minutes

Acie Law just wanted another chance. After missing two free throws with 19 seconds left that would have secured No. 11 Texas A&M’s win, Law got his chance and made two from the line with seven seconds to go to help the Aggies beat Kansas State, 69-65, on Saturday night.

Crazy convention for coaches kicks off

All that’s missing in San Antonio today is a tightrope walker, an elephant and a few dozen clowns. Football coaches from coast to coast will flock to the Henry Gonzalez Convention Center today for the four-day American Football Coaches Association Convention. While baseball has its chaos-filled, almost comedic winter meetings every year, this certainly can be considered football’s equivalent.
