Stillwater, Olka. After trailing by as much as 14 points in the first half, Kansas University rallied within three, but ultimately fell to Oklahoma State, 68-54, in Big 12 Conference women's basketball Wednesday night.
Andrea Riley led the Cowgirls (13-2 overall, 1-1 Big 12) with 18 points, including a 10-for-14 performance at the free-throw line.
Kansas (5-10, 0-3) pulled within five points with 3:22 left, but OSU closed on a 12-3 run.
Kansas senior Shaquina Mosley tied a career-high with 12 points. Freshman Kelly Kohn also tallied 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting.
Norman, Okla., native Sade Morris tallied eight first-half points and finished with 11.
Oklahoma State hit 46.2 percent of its shots in taking a 31-20 first-half lead.
The Jayhawks hit just 29.6 percent before the break, but warmed up to 44.8 percent after intermission.
OSU outscored Kansas, 25-9, at the free-throw line.
The Jayhawks will open a three-game homestand with a contest against Nebraska on Saturday. Tipoff between KU and NU is set for 7 p.m. at Allen Fieldhouse.

if I remember right Budke was available when we hired Bonnie.....I don't care how close she plays Baylor. It seems we are taking more steps backward than forward. What happened to McCray? I know she got kicked off for something.......

We should see something on McCray's suspension. If it was MBB we would have 3-4 articles onit already abd it would have been beat into the ground by now!
Not saying that WBB deserves the same coverage as MBB, but give them a little ink!

Well, 25-9 at the stripe is better than the 33-2. It is, however, symptomatic of a major problem. Figure out what it is, and FIX it!!
