Brandon Rush says he thrives on "shutting up" opposing team's fans who like to toss insults his way.
Julian Wright simply likes the challenge of maintaining "focus" and "looking straight ahead, not left or right," in enemy gyms.
There may be different motivations for different Kansas University basketball players the past two seasons, but the results have been the same.
KU has been wildly successful out of Allen Fieldhouse, compiling a 13-3 mark in Big 12 Conference road games.
"The secret to winning on the road? It's simple. Having good players who are tough," said KU coach Bill Self.
His Jayhawks (26-4) improved to 7-1 in league road games this season after topping Oklahoma, 67-65, on Monday in Noble Center in Norman, Okla.
"I credit the guys. I don't think we've ever had two teams fare as well on the road back to back," added Self, who also has coached at Oral Roberts, Tulsa and Illinois.
KU's road record, which is the school's best back-to-back mark since 2001-03 when Roy Williams' last two KU squads went 14-2, may be most impressive considering a KU loss on the road normally rates a huge happening, with fans rushing the court.
"Of course being Kansas we get everybody's best shot," Self said. "We've had a Red Out (at Nebraska), Black Out (at Kansas State) and White Out (at Oklahoma). We've had a lot of 'outs' on the road,'" he added, referring to promotions where fans are all dressed in one color for the KU game.
"I'm proud of our guys. What we'd like to do is match that 7-1 record on the road with a home win Saturday."
A win over Texas (11 a.m., Allen Fieldhouse) would give KU a 7-1 home mark and at least a share of the Big 12 regular-season crown.
"Our guys have played well away from home," Self said. "The thing I'm excited about is our five leading scorers are freshmen and sophomores, and for the most part we go on the road and play well. Even though Russell (Robinson), Darnell (Jackson) and Sasha (Kaun, all juniors) are huge parts of the team, we rely heavily on freshmen and sophomores (for scoring)."
Self said the squad's road success tells him his team is "tough."
"It's not as tough as I think we can be, but we are tough," Self said. "That shows in loose balls, rebounding, defensive field goal percentage, in a lot of areas. You can also tell toughness by your road record, going in other people's homes and performing well, hunkering down in a tight huddle. We've done a good job in that area. No coach will tell you his team is as tough as he wants it to be, but we're improving in those areas."
Kansas University's Julian Wright (30) puts up a shot over Oklahoma's Longar Longar. Wright scored 18 points in the Jayhawks' 67-65 victory against the Sooners on Monday in Norman, Okla. The Jayhawks improved to 13-3 on the road in the Big 12 Conference during the past two seasons.
¢Forget it, Arkansas: KU coach Self on Tuesday scoffed at reports he might be interested in the Arkansas job amid published reports he'd be a leading candidate if coach Stan Heath is fired.
Harry King of the Arkansas News Bureau wrote "that those who are convinced that Self would be willing to listen cite his desire to be closer to Edmond, Okla. (hometown), and his reported disgust with criticism every time Kansas loses early in the NCAA Tournament."
"I would say obviously he (King) doesn't know my situation very well," Self said, not wanting to further debunk rumors considering Arkansas has a coach in Stan Heath.
Suffice it to say Self has no interest in the Arkansas job.
Other coaches mentioned as possible Arkansas coaches in media reports: Doc Sadler (Nebraska), Billy Gillispie (Texas A&M), Mike Anderson (Missouri) and Mark Turgeon (Wichita State).
¢OU revisited: Self spoke in detail about KU's win over Oklahoma on his Hawk Talk radio show.
"We labored, but played well enough to come out with a win. Maybe it's good it happened that way. It remains to be seen," Self said of pulling out a victory after squandering a 17-point lead.
"Our confidence going into that game was an all-time season high. We didn't play that way. We played tired, to be honest. We looked like a team run-down. I'm not sure it's unusual this time of year playing back to back (Saturday-Monday) with little rest. If you told me before the game we'd win by two, five, 15, whatever, I'd have sold out for that. The fact we had a 14-point lead at halftime and let them tie and still won ... we'll see if it was a good thing for us."
¢Galindo honored: Former KU guard/forward Alex Galindo of Florida International has been named to the second-team All-Sun Belt Conference team. Galindo leads FIU in both scoring (13.9) and rebounding (5.9). He scored a career-high 24 points in a 69-67 win over South Alabama on Feb. 18. Galindo missed the squad's last game with a sprained ankle.
¢No chickens, please: Kansas State's athletic department has written an open letter to fans in response to KSU fans throwing live chickens on the court before the KU game in Manhattan. Here's the letter that appears on the school's official Website:
"Dear K-Staters: Kansas State is known for having the best fans in the nation and the University appreciates the enthusiasm with which K-Staters support their athletics programs. However, at the recent KSU-Kansas basketball game on Feb. 19, there were several instances of the mistreatment of animals. These acts cannot and will not be condoned or tolerated.
"These actions severely tarnish the image of our University, its athletics teams and the majority of our outstanding fans and supporters and while viewed by many as harmless pranks, these acts are likely illegal.
"The University has a long-standing policy that considers live animals (except guide animals) at athletics events to be contraband. Kansas State University forbids fans from throwing any object on the playing surface at athletics contests. Failure to comply with these policies subjects offenders to ejection from the facility and possible prosecution under applicable penalty of law.
"Kansas State has high standards for the behavior of its students, fans and supporters at athletics events and encourages all of our patrons to strive to exceed those expectations and represent the University in a positive manner."

KSU does sell out all there games. Try getting tickets for Saturdays game if you dont believe me. I couldnt go to the game in Manhattan this year because it was sold out way in advance.
I think the chicken throwing was funny during the Ted Owens era and I think its funny this year even if it isnt politically correct to say so.
Good article about the road dogs. The sophomore class already has a lot to be proud of. That would be nice if the football team could win a few road games too.

That's really interesting that "KSU does sell out all [their] games." Am I imagining reports earlier in the season that Huggins called out the students because they weren't showing up to the games? Must be my imagination, right?

I hope everyone understands that we could not replace Bill Self. I hope the administration understands that. He just may well be the best coach Kansas has ever had. I think this will prove true. He would be the leading candidate for any university that needed a coach if he were available.

I am glad we are doing well on the road and this season but is there anyone else out there that thinks we would have the record we have right now had we been playing the Big 12 South opponents twice a year? The blowouts vs. Big 12 North competition are no big deal. We need serious competition heading into the March dance and playing the Sooners and Horns is just what the doctor prescribes. Here's to a strong Big 12 tourney and a huge dance card in March! Go Hawks.

Why is it that every year we have a chance at going far in the NCAA tourny, some article about our coach leaving surfaces, Coach Self needs to squash this one quick, and out loud. I am not in the mood to see this team, that is loaded with talent, come up short this year.
We have the best coach in the BIG XII, and arguable one of the top coaches in the NCAA.
I do not buy into K-state selling out every game, I have flipped to games, and the place is half full most of the time. And, any idiot can realize that if Kansas is scheduled to play, the place is sold out long before the doors open.
Let's talk about the fact that Kansas is being snubbed for a top seed in March, Ohio St., UCLA if they finish the season without losing are definite Top Seeds. Florida lost to unranked Tennesse, North Carolina lost to unranked Maryland, and we are third in the nation with a 20 point win margin even after a 2 point win in Oklahoma. And, yet here we are sitting on top of the two seeds.
The last two years do not help, but this year is different. And saying that we have only won one game against top rank opponent, is not our fault. We have a RPI of 14, and the teams that were suppose to be there all fell short quickly. Kansas doesn't score big, but the other team is lucky to break 50.
This is what is bothering me this morning.

jhawker137,
Here's what I think about the seeding situation. First, I disagree with you that Ohio St deserves a 1-seed. The only reason their RPI is higher than ours is because they played at UNC and a few tougher conference games. Aside from the Wisconsin game, which they luckily won, they lost all of their premier matchup games. So in my mind, they don't deserve a 1. To me, UCLA is the best team in America right now, and I've been saying that for weeks. I'm not sure we deserve a 1-seed just yet. If we win our last four games, then I think we'll be right there at the top. If not, we probably deserve a 2. Keep in mind that a 2-seed in the STL region is probably better than a 1-seed anywhere else.

I agree 100% about with your analysis of our No. 1 seeding...I think that us being the No. 2 in the St. Louis bracket is better than being shipped East or West.
I think Ohio St. is pretty talented...but I can definately see them losing by or before the Sweet 16 Round. With that said, I would love to be in their Bracket as the 2 Seed.
Or, I would love to be in Wisconsin's bracket if they grab a one...especially with their big man Butch being out with an injury.
I with all that said, I am content with a 2.

Arkansas? That would be like leaving a Victorian mansion to go live in a brand new trailer. Doesn't make sense. Plus, Arkansas fans would be just as tough on him as some KU fans are. Ask Tubby Smith if winning a championship gets fans off your back. Self hasn't let the criticism bother him and he shouldn't. I'm a proud jayhawk fan, I hate the first round losses, but some KU "fans" need to see how good we have it with a historical progam like this to root for. Duke, UCLA, North Carolina and Louisville (all considered great jobs in college hoops), represent programs that have missed the tournament since KU last did. Misfortune happens to every team but one at this level.

K-State tooting their own horns as having the greatest fans... please spare me. And the guy at Arkansas is clearly on crack. Self's "disgust" with losing early in the NCAA tourney lies solely with the fact that it has happened twice, not with what fans or critics say about it. Self basically said KU is his career finishing job... if they'll have him. He understands the scrutiny that goes along with it, and when we win a championship, there isn't going to be as much of it.
He's going to win a championship at KU. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind. And I firmly believe that most people who are overly critical of him are going to have an entirely different perception 5 years from now.

It isn't the seeding, but the road to the Final Four.
If KU gets a #1 seed, it most likely, at this point, will take the south which puts Florida, Tennessee, Texas, etc in our bracket. We'd play away from home, and have a tougher road.
Whereas if we get the strong #2 seed in the Midwest, we play either Ohio State or Wisconsin. The selection commitee does what it can to place strong conference opponents away from each other.
So, the #2 in the midwest gives KU the road through teams like Pitt, Ohio St., and a weak #4 like Duke.
It's about matchups, not necessarily seeds, that get you through the dance. Besides, no one is playing better than the hawks right now. Other teams are grinding out wins, and losses, and are fatigued mentally.
The Hawks are firing. Way to go, Self and the boys.

For those of you claiming Self to be the greatest coach in KU history or in the NCAA, I think he has a lot more to prove to earn that distinction.
Here's a million-dollar question: who will do the best job of containing Durant? Wright's D is inconsistent, Arthur will likely sit after a couple early fouls. Can Rush handle it despite the size difference? I don't want to be pessimistic, but this is a real issue.

JayCeph... You've made a couple of great points. I agree the suckit rant is ridiculous.
I also think the need to win on Saturday is important. Maybe more than actually winning.... but fully playing the game like we need to win it is important. If the moons line up all wrong and nothing can go right and we lose a hard fought battle, it's not the end of the world. We can take something from a game that was played hard. If it's an ugly, sloppy game, then there's nothing that can be taken from or built upon in a win or a loss.
But there is an actual benefit from a large group of people calling out someone's idiocy. There's a difference between having an opinion (I fully support differences)... and just being worthless. I want to see qualified remarks and opinions from someone who backs up their opinions with some evidence of reason or logic, not some angry, emotional kid who vowed to blame the coach forever when KU lost in round 1 two years in a row. Calling them an idiot is a personal attack. What's so wrong with that?
KU is a dream job for the best coaches in the land. Great campus, great town, great pay, great tradition (and recruiting power), great support. We attract the cream of the crop. Both in talent, and in coaching. What is the biggest CON of being a KU coach? It's one of the most scrutinized positions in all of college sports. It's the masses of people like this dumbass that might make a very talented coach tentative to take the KU job in the future.
If our coaches really are so bad, then it's the fault of the frickin moron's who bitch and complain about everything they do.
When it comes to how other KU fans act, it's not about being above them. It's about trying to help influence them. And someone who's such an idiot they can't see the talent that Self has as a coach, then I'd really rather they resent me and all the other KU fans who call them names. Maybe someday they'll resent KU and move on. Because we don't need or want idiots as fans. If afdk, or whoever was my little brother or my best friend, I'd still tell him he's an idiot. And I'm sure he'd eventually stop bringing up KU basketball to me, because it makes him mad. GREAT! That's the desired effect!
I have different opinions from you all the time. But I respect yours as you do at least attempt to qualify your remarks with a basis for the opinion. Those who are reasonable and logical can debate with one another on a mature and impersonal level.
In general, I agree with your sentiment of KU fans being composed. You have influenced me some in that regard. But for reasons listed above, calculating the right time for strong words to someone with a jacked-up opinion can be prudent.

However, if your little brother (afdk) were ranting and raving about stupid coaches, etc., I would still place a heavy emphasis on calling him out on his idiotic behavior or idiotic stance but hedge away from calling him an 'idiot' outright. I want him to hear my message and not shut down or get defensive or worse, both.
Making it a personal attack usually negates the very point one is trying to make. And often times, makes one look just as 'idiotic' as those they accuse of the same.

The people out there that constantly critize this team need to take a step back. I'm sick of all the anti Self talk out there. Some of you act as if it's a personal attack on you that the Jayhawks lost a game. It's not, we all hate to see the Hawks loose one, that is a given. The thing is, is that it doesn't need to be the focus of so many, start looking at the positives if that is possible for you haters. Get off this blog and spread your venom else where, like a mizzou page or k-state page? Just get bent and get lost!!!

They say that where there is no shepherd the sheep of the flock are scattered. The unifying principle that should be in all of our minds is that we are Jayhawk fans. Unfortunately, we forget that much too soon and we all go our different ways. People we should be coming together right now! Now is the time of year where I want to come here and see constructive debate about our seeding, who we might face, how we might do against them, and what our chances are in winning the whole thing. I don't want to log on and be witness to a shouting match. Again, I agree with JayCeph, who currently is the only party to this incident worthy of his Crimson and Blue. It's embarrassing!

Gee, you think? You think throwing a live animal is an illegal act? Don't go out on a limb there or anything, KSU legal department.
It's funny that even in their open request to their fans to tone down their actions, KSU shows what a low-class, low-rent place it is.

Heavy is the crown of the big xii. You are always going to have the little guys, KSU or MIZZOU in this case, get excited about overthrowing the king, and in the end it never works out. Remember "The Godfather"? KU is Michael Corleone while MIZZOU is the hot-headed Sonny and KSU is the weak Fredo. We're all part of the Big XII family, but we all know who is in charge.
(I have to give Shaq some credit on parts of that metaphor, but it seems to fit nicely.)

Good points.
Williams is Tessio, it was just business but we must take care of him regardless (hopefully in the tournament soon).
I think Duke is more like Solozzo. They hung around as a threat, even making an offer (Quinn Snyder) to Sonny (MIZZOU), but we took them out when it mattered (2003).
I think it should also be noted that Texas A&M this year would be Carlo (the brother-in-law Michael later whacks) seeing as how the South married into the Big XII but we haven't really embraced them.

adky - Who out there would be a better choice at this point than Self? I keep hearing people calling for Self's head without offering any realistic alternatives to replace him. Only one team can win the championship each year. Roy won exactly none while here. But his recruiting and coaching put KU in a position to win each year. That's exactly what Self has done thus far. Granted the two early tournament flame outs aren't acceptable, but I seem to remember other great coaches going through similar issues - like Jim Boeheim - before finally catching the breaks and winning it all.

I agree, who is more qualified than Self? He has coached three programs (including Tulsa, amazingly) to the Elite Eight. He is still young by coaching standards and consistantly delivers McDonald's All-Americans, all the while winning conference championships in a power conference. He hasn't won the National Championship in his three full years at KU. Oh my God, what are we going to do? I mean, we were so use to winning National Championships while Roy was here. Here's the fact: it's hard to win it all! Ask Roy Williams, Dean Smith, Jim Boeheim and Gary Williams. People said that they were underachievers too and now they all wear rings. Larry Brown took awhile to win his first college championship. It sure didn't happen for him at UCLA. I'm sure that you are probably the same type of person that burnt Roy Williams to the ground every year as well. No one is good enough for that type of fan.

The Texas A&M loss was an inexcusable piece of coaching.
No amount of sycophantic comments here will make our tourney run better. Remember, self love may make you feel good in the short term, but you wind up feeling empty in the long term!

I agree too. Hard to say he shouldn't be here...VERY hard. There's only a few coaches good enough to coach at Kansas in the first place, and of those most are either locked into commitments or aren't a good fit for the program here at Kansas. I can think of only a few that would even be condidates: Mark Few (would recruit better at Kansas than Gonzaga simply because of the program), John Calipari, and maybe Tom Crean. But all of these guys are firmly entrenched in their own programs. Furthermore, Bill Self is doing a wonderful job so if it aint broke I say don't fix it.

I know a lot of KU fans feel that way, but what would happen if they lose their first game again? It could happen, it is after all college basketball.
I hope to gawd they don't, because I think their much too talented to not make it to at least the final four. On top of that I get sick and tired of hearing "idiotic" claims that Self isn't that good. After watching Ohio St and Wisconsin the other night, I'd have to say that was about the dullest game I've watched in a long time. Here's the REAL news. It will be a disappointment if we don't make the Elite 8!
Forget first-round losses. We need to win at least THREE, and a Final Four expectation this year is not unreasonable. The fact of the matter is, I still think Bill Self will wear a monkey on his back for poor tournament performance if he doesn't make the E8.
Some people are gonna say he's already been to the Elite 8 with Kansas, but that was not HIS team. He was still under Roy's shadow at that time and he was doing it with HIS players. Self's legacy can't take credit for the Elite 8 performance in his first year. That team had been to the Final Four twice!
I have faith in Coach, though. I really do, and I think he gives Kansas fans something they've been looking for this year--a deep run into the tournament.

Ahhh Adky!
SEE jayceph.. I call someone an idiot, and they finally respond with an effort to at least qualify their opinion. Still screwed up logic.... and didn't really indicate a real reason behind the logic. But it's still a lot better than "we are going nowhere with this guy"
Adky, you stated ONE smart thing, and then twisted to still make yourself wrong.
They did hire Self to make the big donors happy. (and the small ones, the students, the faculty, and everyone else that calls themselves KU fans)
Why would hiring Self keep the big donors happy? Let's think about that..... what do the donor's want? They want KU to win. Call me crazy, but I'm guessing that is high on their list of things they'd like to see year in and year out.
So didn't you just say it yourself? They hired Coach Self to make the team successful, and thus keep the big donors happy. Isn't that, in a nutshell, what you said?
I believe you also said he was the "safe choice". What is a safe choice after a year in which you go to the national championship and lose two all-americans? I'd say a "safe choice" at that point is someone who's going to keep winning. You clearly acknowledge yourself that you fully believe he was the "safe choice". What do you want? A risky choice? Some diamond in the rough who's never won anywhere else? Of course he's the safe choice. Didn't we all want a safe choice? Or maybe we would have been better off with some party animal like Larry Eustachy to trump Bob Thug-ins. THAT would have been an unsafe pick.
Great players are coming here because "Self is a good coach". Donors are happy with the hire because "Self is a good coach". Other coaches players are calling KU a "well-coached team". Even some of the biased east-coast analysts are saying how great KU is playing. And here you are saying that he was a safe choice who keeps boosters happy. That is absolutely correct!
Then why is now a good time to start looking for a new guy?
And like Radrhett said, who on earth do you suppose we hire? Is John Wooden still around? Maybe Coach K is leaving Duke. Roy already had his 15 shots at a title at KU, but maybe he'll come back. Maybe you think Phil Jackson would be better coaching a team without Jordan, Kobe, DWade or Shaq? Maybe Dean Smith will come here and wear his Carolina blues on our bench. Or maybe KU should just put a want ad in the paper?
Your theory is swiss cheese.

B12, which I berated early as weak has proved me wrong IMHO. It looks the best to me of late. Why? Conferences with the most top coaches are the best conferences no matter what. They get the best talent, no matter where they are and they get it to play the best. They're tougher to beat, because top coaches are great strategists and motivators and they can often beat teams with superior talent even with top coaching (note TTech's handling of KU and KSU's handling of Texas).
The B12 has Bill Self, Rick Barnes, Bob Knight, Bob Huggins, Billy Gillispie. No other conference has five coaches that good. If we were picking just the top three, the ACC easily has the best with three ring holders in Coach K, Roy, and Gary Williams. But go five deep and the ACC just doesn't match the B12. Neither does ANY other conference in the country.
Bottom Line: a conference five deep in top coaches means alot more tough games than a conference three deep. It can mean that a top B12 team with one of the top 5 coaches in the league may have to play as many as 8 conference (and likely 1-2 in conference tourney) games against superbly coached teams. A top ACC team with one of the top ACC coaches only has to face top notch coaches four games in conference and likely once in the conference tourney.
The B12 IS the toughest conference, because it has the most tough coaches. Didn't used to think so, until I realized how good Gillispie was, but he is and he makes five and five is brutal. I suspect Anderson will make six, but we have to see what he can do with some talent when he finally gets some.
Do I like all five of the top B12 coaches? No. I don't like Knight trash ball. I don't like Butcher Barnes ball. I don't like HuggoMuggo ball. But I'm not talking about morality here. I'm talking about top coaches regardless of how they do it.

"...Roy won the championship at UNC with Matt Doherty's players so that wasn't HIS team either and Roy hasn't won a championship yet according to your logic. Get over Roy. Bill Self is the best fit for Kansas - a helluva coach and a better recruiter than Roy."
And now, one of my earlier quotes on THIS story:

And yet another post on this story:
"Bill Self is doing a wonderful job so if it aint broke I say don't fix it."
And still another post regarding my feelings about Self in this story:
"I have faith in Coach, though. I really do, and I think he gives Kansas fans something they've been looking for this year--a deep run into the tournament."
Does it sound like I have a problem with Coach Self, cause if it does you need to get your hearing checked, Ohio. It's the Roy haters who are stirring controversy. How can one extol the virtues of Self as a Coach without acknowledging Roy's contributions? Roy Williams was a great coach for Kansas and did a lot for us. Accept it and move on already!

update: Top TV Biased One Seeds VS. Non Biased One Seeds...
South: TV Biased choice: still Florida--undeserving (caving at the end, lost to KU), but a lock because of media market. Unbiased choice: aTm. People are massively underrating this team. At first I thought Ag. & Mechanical just caught KU on an off night. They did. But bottom line, they came into KU's crib and took it to us. And they've played very consistently all season. Law is as good as any guard this year and can keep scoring even when he has to defend a very good guard. They've got a 6'7" 3 who can shut down most teams' wings; you can't understate the importance of this. It means every game, they can shut down your top guard and your wing and you have to play right into their brawny big men. Very tough chore. aTm is an example of having the right pieces sometimes being more important than having lots of "talent." Their anonymous big men would be much better known and respected, if they were being hyped regularly by Vitale, Bilas, etc. aTm can get physical enough to gum up any team. I hate to say it, but Gillispie may actually have a better fit of the pieces for 70 possession take what they give us ball than Self does, even with all KU's talent.
East: TV Biased Choice: still UNC--undeserving (caving at the end and swept by VTech, guards turn out to be overrated with limitations concealed by speed ball; the heralded wings seem more and more like Keith Langford's without the slashing; Tyler and Brandon good, but it turns out not excellent). Unbiased Choice: Memphis--waaaaaay underrated. big and mobile. If they were better shooters, they'd win it all easily.
Midwest: TV biased choice: Ohio State--undeserving (played horribly against everyone except NanoTen teams), but a lock because of TV market and only aircraft carrier in tourney. Unbiased Choice: Kansas. by a freaking country mile even if i hadn't gone to ku!!!
West: TV Biased Choice: UCLA----undeserving (alleged tough schedule wasn't tough at all and lost to actually good teams they did play, plus got upset in PeeWee10). Unbiased Choice: Ohio State, UW or my dark horse favorite--U of Nevada. Fazekas and UNevas get no respect, though they arguably have one of the three best bigs and are more experienced than any other team with comparable record. Experience counts in horse shoes, hand grenades and March Madness.
Next update in a week. Alas, the more the big market teams lose, the more things stay the same in seedings. Only losses by small market teams really shake things up substantially and that's in the second seed and on down.
I like going out on limbs. :-)

I have to honestly say, that game last night between the Horns and Aggies was one of the best. Up there with the OSU vs. Texas game.

I agree BigTrav, about last night's game!
Regarding the chicken incident:
"However, at the recent KSU-Kansas basketball game on Feb. 19, there were several instances of the mistreatment of animals. These acts cannot and will not be condoned or tolerated."
Are you kidding me???
When I was at KU we had T-shirts and bumper stickers that said, "KSU, where men are men and sheep are nervous."
LOL!!!

I dont want to see anyone else say it was luck when A&M beat us. They outscored us 17-4 in the last 5. Folks, that aint called luck, thats called a whoopin. Like Law said after he hit the game tying three over Durant "Thats what I do"

Okay, Jross, I'll call off the dogs. One of my pet peeves is to hear "he did it with the other coaches players" so I jumped pretty quickly. What people fail to see is that while the first coach recruited while the second coach coached. i live in Ohio. Buckeye fans had quite a laugh when John Cooper claimed credit when Jim Tressel won a national championship with "his" players.
