KU women's tennis squad hosted BYU today
KU dropped all three doubles matches against BYU, but managed to win 3 of 6 singles matches. BYU narrowly escaped with the overall victory.
Kansas University's tennis team suffered a 4-3 setback to 34th-ranked Brigham Young on Friday at First Serve.
KU (1-7) lost all three doubles matches and at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, but Edina Horvath, Lauren Hommell and Yuliana Svistun won at Nos. 3-5.
However, BYU's Dolly Change beat KU's Stephanie Smith, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 6 singles to clinch the victory for the Cougars.
KU will play host to Utah today. Match time is 11 a.m. at First Serve.
