Kona, Hawaii The Kansas University men's golf team shot a third-round 295 Saturday to finish in a tie for 14th place at the Hawaii-Hilo Invitational, the Jayhawks' first tournament of the spring season.
Freshman Patrick Roth was the top finisher for KU, shooting a final-round 71 to finish in a tie for 43rd place with a three-day total of 210.
KU will continue its spring season Feb. 26-27 at The All-American in Houston.
