The headline of this story is grossly misleading. The headline writer needs a spanking.
I believe KU had won 32 straight from southern B12 teams.
After the A&M loss, KU is now 32 and 1 vs. southern division teams in the B12? Let me repeat: 32-1.
Does that sound like KU's dominance over southern B12 teams has been halted?
Of course not!
32-1 is still stunningly dominant.

Make no mistake about it; Bill Self can recruit, but he simply can't coach! What self-respecting first-year junior high coach would have a 50% free-throw shooter in the game at crunch time when the only way for the opposition to win is to foul the team's worst free-throw shooter? Saturday night, that's exactly what happened. What possible reason should Sasha Kaun be in the game at that juncture? (Does 2 points in 2 games earn him the right to be there at the end?) Routinely, Self's coaching style does not give KU the best chance to win, otherwise, how could we have already lost to 4 inferior teams? The only "better" team we've played was Florida and we beat them with super efforts and excellent free throw shooting from Sasha Kaun -- oops I mean Shady Arthur! The right players in the game at the right time is so fundamental in coaching, one would think that even Self could see it -- but apparently not. We are all in for a great disappointment in the big dance because we have the 3rd or 4th best team in the nation and the 33rd or 34th best coach.....
