Norman, Okla. Kansas University junior Crystal Manning established a school record in the women's triple jump Saturday during the second day of competition at the John Jacobs Invitational.
Manning jumped 43 feet, 71â4 inches to edge the previous KU mark held by Brooklyn Hann.
KU's Kate Sultanova won the women's pole vault, clearing 13-11â2.
Julius Jiles won the men's 110-meter hurdles in 14.14 seconds, while Ashley Brown won the women's 100 hurdles in 13.74.
Egor Agafonov won the men's hammer throw with a toss of 225-10, while Zlata Tarasova won the women's event with a throw of 199-2. Colby Wissel won the men's 5,000 in 14:12.11.
KU will return home to play host to the Kansas Relays next weekend.
