Boulder, Colo. The Kansas University volleyball team fell to Colorado in five games Saturday.
The Jayhawks took a 2-1 lead after losing the first game, but the Buffs dominated the final two. The finals were 30-28, 22-30, 20-30, 30-19, 15-7.
Three Jayhawks - senior Jana Correa, junior Emily Brown and red-shirt freshman Katie Martincich - notched double-digit kills. Correa led the way with 18.
Martincich, the KU setter, had 51 assists.
Kansas outblocked Colorado, 16 to 11. The Jayhawks also boasted a season-best eight service aces.
The Jayhawks will continue their short road stint Wednesday at Texas Tech. First serve is set for 7 p.m. in United Spirit Arena.
