Golf team places ninth

FORT COLLINS, COLO. — Kansas University’s women's golf team placed ninth of 17 teams at the Colorado after completion of the final two rounds Tuesday at the Colorado State Classic. The Jayhawks finished with a total score of 903 (295-310-298) at the Ptarmigan Country Club. Colorado won with 872 strokes. Senior Amanda Costner tied for 18th place with scores of 70-74-79 — 223.
