Berkeley, Calif. Holly Gault had a goal and an assist in a 10-minute span, helping the Kansas University soccer team defeat St. Mary's, 4-2.
The match was tied at halftime, but the Jayhawks scored three goals in the 10-minute span early in the second half and put the game away.
Lacey Novak, Monica Dolinsky and Michelle Rasmussen also scored goals for KU.
Goalkeeper Julie Hanley had two saves, including one in the first half that prevented St. Mary's from taking the lead.
The Jayhawks improved their record to 2-1 and will travel to Birmingham, Ala., to face the University of Alabama at 5 p.m. Friday.
