Former Kansas University basketball icon Wilt Chamberlain is the subject of this week's "River City Weekly" encore show.
The show features Bill Mayer, sports columnist for the Journal-World; Jerry Waugh, Chamberlain's assistant coach at KU; Maurice King, Chamberlain's teammate at KU; and Max Falkenstien, former "Voice of the Jayhawks."
"River City Weekly," with host Greg Hurd, premieres on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6 at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays with replays at 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Mondays, and 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
"River City Weekly" also can be viewed anytime on Sunflower on Demand.

I hope they delve into his acting career... namely his stint as warrior giant in Conan the Destroyer. What a top-notch movie!
Pretty crappy in all actuality but a fun show to watch nonetheless.
