¢ KU leads the all-time series, 2-1. The Jayhawks lost the last meeting, 83-73, at the 2002 Preseason NIT in New York. KU won, 69-54, in 1996 in Gainesville, Fla., and 69-63, in 1994 at Allen Fieldhouse.

¢ The University of Florida is located in Gainesville, Fla. Enrollment is 48,673. Nickname is Gators. School colors are Orange and Blue. The team is a member of the Southeastern Conference.

¢ UF coach Billy Donovan this year will become Florida's all-time winningest coach. Norm Sloan had 235 in 15 seasons.

¢ Florida is the first NCAA champion to bring back all five starters since Arizona in 1998. After winning the crown in 1997, Arizona reached the Elite Eight in '98, falling to Utah. Florida and Arizona are the only teams since 1959 to return all five starters from a national title team.
