KU tied for third at Big 12 swimming

— Kansas University’s swimming and diving team was in third place after Wednesday’s opening day at the Big 12 Conference Championships.

KU placed third in the 200 medley relay and fifth in the 800 free relay, the only events on the first day.

Texas and Texas A&M are tied for the team lead. KU is tied with Missouri for third and is followed by Nebraska and Iowa State.

The four-day meet continues today.
