Anthony Randolph, a 6-foot-10, 210-pound senior basketball forward from Dallas' Woodrow Wilson High, has set up campus visits to Texas, Georgetown and LSU, his uncle told Rivals.com on Wednesday. Randolph also plans to make a fourth visit, to Kansas University or Cincinnati. Randolph, ranked No. 16 in the 2007 class, averaged 18.3 points, 10 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game as a junior.

Is KU still looking to fill one spot on its non-conference schedule? Has there been any progress on that? Currently, it looks like KU has two straight weeks in December without a game. Just wondering.

Yes, they are looking for one more non-con opponent. I'm assuming that game would be in the middle of those two-weeks to cut the downtime to one week on either side of the game.

Yes, I do see that large gap. Amazingly, that hiatus coincides with those pesky things called finals, which, inexplicably, these scholarship student-athletes must take.

Funny how quickly we forget that there is something more important than just adding another opponent. Two weeks off - guys get rested, no one gets hurt, academics get addressed. The games don't count in December, anyway. They only count in March, as, unfortuanately, we KU fans knwo all too well.

Dude, why get all snarky because I noticed a two-week gap in the schedule?

I agree finals are important, but it is just not typical for any team to take two weeks off during the middle of the season, even if finals are taking place. Some of us fans like non-conference games and like to watch games throughout the whole season, instead of just waiting until March to jump on the bandwagon.

KU has two games right between Christmas and New Years. Are you going to make me feel guilty for watching those game because the players should be spending time with their families?

Uh Dude,

Yes, I want to see as many games as possible, too. And as one who has covered the Jayhawks, I don't want to them to get rusty. That said, who cares about late December? We beat up on East Coast State for giggles and bucks.

My point is that the gap is a good thing. It's really not mid-season. Florida is the only game that matters before league. After that, we need to be focusing on March.

Snarky is not my game, realistic is.

Julian rocks your house.
