History was on the line twice Thursday for one member of the Kansas baseball team. With his Jayhawks facing Texas Tech, senior closer Don Czyz was one appearance away from tying the KU single season mark at 11. Of course, for Czyz to reach either of those numbers the Hawks would need to have the lead late.
