? Kansas University’s men’s golf team won the 14-team Stevinson Ranch Invitational on Tuesday at Stevinson Ranch Golf Club. The Jayhawks shot a final round of 299 to give them a two-day score of 872.

The Jayhawks won the tournament by 20 strokes, which was the most by any team in the tournament’s history. This marks the second straight year the Jayhawks have won the title and the sixth time in seven seasons. The win was the second team title for KU this spring.

Senior Kevin Ward won the tournament by six strokes after posting a three-round score of 208. Ward collected his third title as a Jayhawk and his first of the spring season.

“We had a wild weather day today, with thunder, lightning, heavy winds, heavy rain,” KU coach Ross Randall said. “We’re happy to have won. We beat a lot of teams from our district, so we’re pleased with that.”

Kansas’ Tyler Docking was fourth with a 216.
