Self, Dooley respond to exchange with Fazekas

In the hand-shake line after the game, ESPN TV cameras captured Kansas University assistant coach Joe Dooley yelling something at Nevada's Nick Fazekas. It was unknown if Fazekas said anything to provoke the exchange.

"Obviously, in a hotly contested game like this one, emotions were high after the game. Coach Joe Dooley responded in an inappropriate manner to an exchange with a Nevada player," KU head coach Bill Self said.

Added Dooley: "I have great respect for the Nevada team. They played well tonight. I responded in a negative manner to something that was said to me following the game. I certainly apologize to the Nevada program, and this is not the manner in which Kansas basketball should be represented."
