Kansas University's football team unveiled its new uniforms for the upcoming season during the team's annual media day at Memorial Stadium.
The highly-anticipated blue-white digs created by newly acquired athletics sponsor adidas didn't disappoint KU players either.
"I think they're pretty stylish," said quarterback Adam Barmann, who also revealed that Kansas has a special third-colored crimson jersey that would be worn on special occasions in much the same fashion as the Jayhawk basketball team.
The team's home tops are highlighted by the university's newly defined universal blue, with a Jayhawk mascot emblazoned on the center of the neckline and the adidas logo replacing Nike's famous swoosh from KU's former navy uniforms.
The road jersey's are an identical style, in white. The team's helmet is nearly the same as last season, with the new hue of blue the only difference.
"They're a lot like we thought they would be, kind of like the New York Giants," said KU senior receiver Mark Simmons. "I like 'em."
