SOUTH BEND, IND. Kansas University's men's bowling club placed third out of 37 teams at the Blue and Gold Classic over the weekend.
Wichita State won the men's team title, 169 pins ahead of KU. Chris Dilley led the Jayhawks and all male bowlers with a 214 average. Rhino Page and Marc D'Errico averaged 197 pins.
KU's women's team placed fifth of 22 teams.
Zelly Zapf led KU with a 184 average, a pin ahead of teammate Sarah Roenfeldt.
