Max Falkenstien, who works with Bob Davis on the Jayhawk Radio Network to broadcast Kansas University football and men's basketball games, celebrated his 80th birthday with a party Friday night at Lawrence Country Club. Falkenstien, who has been broadcasting KU sports for the last 58 years, said during the NCAA Tournament he didn't plan to retire this year.
