First quarter

13:13 -- Brandon Rideau 64 pass from Bill Whittemore. On the fourth play of the game, Rideau slipped behind Colorado's secondary, waited for a ball that was underthrown and beat three CU defensive backs to the end zone. Johnny Beck kick. (KU 7, CU 0)

10:04 -- Joe Klopfenstein 48 pass from Joel Klatt. Colorado needed only eight plays to answer KU's score. Klopfenstein also had a 15-yard gain before his TD. Mason Crosby kick. (KU 7, CU 7)

3:24 -- Klatt 1 run. KU's Curtis Ansel shanked a 14-yard punt, giving CU possession at its own 45. It took the Buffs just five plays to take the lead. Receiver Jeremy Bloom had a 34-yard run, and fullback Lawrence Vickers had a 14-yard run. Crosby kick. (CU 14, KU 7)

Fourth quarter

:14 -- FG Crosby 23. Brian Calhoun sparked CU's final drive of regulation with a 27-yard run. Hackett had a pivotal 26-yard gain to the KU 13 on third-and-10 from the 39.
