Kansas University's men's bowling team has won the inaugural American Bowling Congress Sport Bowling Award.
Members of the KU men's team are Marc D'Errico, a junior from Rochester, N.Y.; Jason Elliott, a senior from Salina; Alan Emmons, a junior from Loveland, Colo.; Glenn Harrison, a senior from Frontenac; Jesse James, a senior from Lawrence; Ryan Ludwig, a senior from Kansas City; Rhino Page, a freshman from San Diego; and Jason Reese, a senior from Lenexa.
Wichita State captured the Women's International Bowling Congress women's award. Both schools received a crystal pin in recognition of their performances at the intercollegiate tournament last month in Tulsa, Okla.
