Mizzou outlasts Kansas - Tigers 61, Jayhawks 55

Late rally not enough for KU

One bright spot isn’t going to cut it. Kansas University’s women’s basketball team fell Saturday, 61-55, to Missouri in front of 2,600 fans at Allen Fieldhouse. Besides Tamara Ransburg’s sensational day, nobody stepped up to give the Jayhawks a shot.

Jayhawks bury Iowa State, 70 - 51

The Jayhawks struggled with shooting early in the second half, but managed to maintain their lead and pull away to bury the Cyclones, 70-51. Nick Collison and Kirk Hinrich paced Kansas in scoring with 19 points each, follwed by Miles with 14.
