TULSA, OKLA. Kansas University's women's bowling club placed fourth and the men finished eighth Saturday at the Intercollegiate Bowling Championships.
The KU women, who were undefeated entering the Final Four round, fell to Florida State in a pair of 4-2 decisions, then lost to Wichita State in the third-place game. Central Missouri State won the national title.
Kristina Boehm, a senior from Olathe, was named the tournament's most valuable bowler.
