KU women’s golf in 8th


Kansas University's women's golf team is in eighth place after the first day of the Verizon "Mo"morial Invitational on Monday at Pine Forest Country Club. The Jayhawks shot a first-day 634.

Chrystal Thayer led the Jayhawks with a 36-hole score of 158 and is tied for 32nd place. Tiffany Kruggel shot 159 and is tied for 35th.
