I can't feel it," said Chenowith, Kansas' senior center who may have suffered a broken nose after taking a second-half elbow from NU's Justin Boeker.

Oklahoma State's first conference victory of the season came at the expense of the Kansas women's basketball team. The Jayhawks (7-8, 1-3 Big 12) had snapped a four-game losing streak on Saturday with a 78-67 home victory over Kansas State. But KU committed 26 turnovers on Wednesday at Gallagher-Iba Arena in a 61-53 loss to OSU.

The No. 5-ranked Jayhawks, who were playing their first home game in 32 days, devoured unheralded Nebraska, 84-62, before 16,300 appreciative fans. "I missed it (fieldhouse) a lot," said KU sophomore forward Drew Gooden, who combined with fellow frontcourt players Kenny Gregory and Nick Collison for 53 points and 20 rebounds.
