Game Updates: Kansas-Texas Tech

It's been two years since Kansas University's men's basketball program has recognized a senior class, but tonight against Texas Tech the Jayhawks will do it in a big way. Five scholarship seniors will not only start the game, but play in front of 16,300 fans for the final time in Allen Fieldhouse. Darnell Jackson, Sasha Kaun, Russell Robinson, Rodrick Stewart and Jeremy Case suit up for the final time as KU (26-3 overall, 11-3 Big 12) has an opportunity on its hands to stay neck-and-neck with Texas atop the Big 12 standings. A win actually would put KU a half-game ahead of Texas, who plays tomorrow night at home against Nebraska. Read more »

Bill Self spoke with the media following Monday's 109-51 stomping of Texas Tech on Senior Night in Allen Fieldhouse. Self had plenty to say about the departing senior class, which is the first he's ever recruited and seen all the way through at any of his four head coaching stops. Each of the seniors scored, with the highlights coming in the form of Russell Robinson's 15 points and Jeremy Case's three second half three-balls. The Keegan Ratings: Russell goes out a perfectionist
