Rodney Crain in reply to Lawkan

FIBA they are #8, but this WUG team is not the national team. They have good players.

Tdscpa

So, scores are still low, we need a 5 second half court, and a 15 second shot clock?

Joe Ross in reply to Lawkan

I dont know about rankings, but I heard the commentators say that in pool play, the US, Turkey, and Serbia were the powers.

Rodney Crain

43 seconds will feel like 5 minutes...

Joe Ross

Gotta be more cognizant of the shot clock!!!

Lawkan

hmm almost at the basket when Turkey has the ball for me.

Rodney Crain in reply to Joe Ross

Turkey looks tired, might be why they are missing those FT's. But we need at least 3 more scores here to close this game out to me.

Joe Ross in reply to Lawkan

Mine too. Small score in upper left corner of screen.

Rodney Crain

upper left, and very small Lawkan

David Lara

Good lord, draw up some offense.

Who has impressed you guys the most?

Joe Ross

Selden with the Hoop and the Harm

David Lara in reply to Joe Ross

Absolutely. Their play in this game/tourney is fundamental to developing the skills to respond during the season.

Joe Ross

Heading into the final quarter the question is whether or not Kansas can keep up the intensity. They seem to be playing strong as the game goes on. A win tonight helps us tremendously.

Only the NCAA is concerned about Amateurs athletes

Joe Ross

Nice comeback for Kansas near the end. Hard to go shorthanded against these veteran teams. Kansas playing well all things considered.

Joe Ross

I admit to being confused about it. I mean even in the Olympic Games, which is supposed to be amateurs, NBA and NHL players are allowed to play. So the "contract" thing...

Bobby Nightengale in reply to David Lara

Yeah, good example.

Vernon Riggs

Yes, in Turkey

David Lara

Didn't Enis Kantner lose college eligibility because it was found he had played professionally in Europe before attempting to play for Kentucky?

Bobby Nightengale in reply to Joe Ross

Yeah those eligibility concerns always pop up when do play college. Hard to find out if they were paid or not, I think.
