Just looked at the box score. Horrible 3-point shooting. Greene didn't play at all, and we could really use his marksmanship. Any idea what's going on with him?

Well Self said following the Iona game that Brennan needed to make sure he was taking care of everything off the court. I've heard all kinds of speculation & rumors as to what that means exactly, but essentially what it equates to is that is he's in Self's doghouse, and with a team this deep he can afford to teach the young man a lesson.

I agree though, we can definitely use him this year, and assuming he sticks it out he is going to be an absolute stud once more playing time opens up going forward in his KU career.

Thanks ICT. I originally thought it was going to be just a one-game suspension. But I agree with you. Assuming he sticks it out, he'll be a stud. Great shot AND great athleticism. I'm looking forward to him working his way back into the rotation.

Here is what I heard about Greene: During the first half of the, Greene was playing some major minutes. Take a look at what happened at the 1 minute mark (www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLxQa8wDXFc), Greene was very lackadasical handling a pass, then lost the ball out of bounds. Self immediately took Greene out of the game, never to return again. A few days later during practice, Greene got upset thinking apparently thinking he had earned more reps with the starters. Greene then through a temper tantrum -off the court. The LJW reported on this, to Self's disapproval. Self believes things like this to be "inside issues." Anyway, Greene has put himself in a situation where he needs to prove himself. Thing is, the longer he's held out of games, the harder it will be for Self to regain confidence in his game. Greene will probably still get some good time this weekend, if he works hard and doesn't though any tantrums.

Thanks Suzi. I hadn't seen the story about the tantrum. Not smart. Let's hope it's just freshman stupidity and he gets over that feeling of entitlement.
