Booo to the refs. There were several blown calls that were had to recover from

Cody Riedy

Our inability to kick field goals is really hurting us. The inability to make or even attempt field goals now takes away a lot of strategy options and momentum. Getting 3 points here and there feels a lot better than getting inside the 30 or so and coming up with a big ZERO.

Aaron Carpenter in reply to Hawksquawk

Never blamed them....complaining about a call is not blaming. Understand?

David Meredith

Really needed a W against Rice, got to win the winnable games.

Darin Bradley

2nd half game plan killed us

Hawksquawk in reply to Lajayhawk

I hear ya. Disappointing because we actually could have won

Kansasalumn in reply to Nddjayhawk

i thought game plan was horrible especially in the 3rd not running the ball more often

Rodney Stice

Would have been nice to get a TD today. Would liked to have seen a more balanced attack, not three quick passes for imcompletions. Good red zone defense.

Jayhawk_from_swks in reply to Ku_fan

It's when someone on the ground uses their leg to trip another player.

Hawksquawk in reply to Aaron Carpenter

And blaming the refs is a winners attitude?

Jayhawk2181

keep the faith everyone... not a satisfying game but it's a better than last year

James McGuire

That wasn't supposed to be a reply.

Aaron Carpenter in reply to Hawksquawk

That's a real losers attitude

Lajayhawk

Honestly, a disappointing game, but disappointing for good reasons... if that makes any sense....

James McGuire in reply to Beator

Does our kicker have more points than the rest of the team so far this year?

Micky Baker

There was no leg whip there. And the fumble, if he caught the ball outside the endzone, that's a safety. Very poor officiating in the second half. Blatant disregard for integrity.

1_jaydoc_1

Good game. 6 pts won't get it done though. Still this whole team played at anther level from last week.

Hawksquawk in reply to Micky Baker

We still beat the spread, dummy

Mojayhawk

a work in progress

Jesse Newell

TCU kneeldown ends it.

Lajayhawk in reply to Micky Baker

Um.... we covered the spread anyway... so.... yeah, that makes no sense.

1_jaydoc_1 in reply to Thebohawk

Wild have been more likely to fumble had he done that. He played that right IMO.

Nddjayhawk

Defense played great. I like Campo and Weis's game plan. Crist is flat out inaccurate and our WRs cannot get enough seperation down the field at times.

Mojayhawk in reply to Thebohawk

he would have if it had been in his hands

Hottrod

Still good job by KU, we kept it close with the number 16 ranked team. Better than we did last year.

Thebohawk

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Micky Baker in reply to Lajayhawk

It wasn't even a leg whip. It was a "bet on the spread" call. They did not want TCU to lose this game because the ref loses money.

Thebohawk in reply to 1_jaydoc_1

Sorry... but He should have extended the ball over the plane.... it was a mistake.

Lawkan

I never understood why tripping was illegal in football.

Lajayhawk in reply to Ku_fan

Watch the penthouse channel and you'll find out.

Beator

To the Hawk!

Weis huddling the whole team together during this timeout.

Jayhawk10rush

Even though we are more competitive, I feel like this could be 1 win season.

Ku_fan

what the heck is a leg whip?

David Meredith

Crist is trying, but he really can not run well.

1_jaydoc_1

Not a mistake really. Just a great hit.

Cody Riedy

That was a good hit on the ball.

Beator

easy money

Lajayhawk

Well, we covered the spread.....

James McGuire in reply to Jesse Newell

Seriously? We couldn't put it in from the 3 yard line?

Jayhawk_from_swks in reply to Lonnie Ross Dillon

I didn't

Koolkeithfreeze

Damn. Where was the 8 tight-end set there!?!

Lonnie Ross Dillon

Not that it matters, but did anyone see a leg whip?

Jayhawk2181

theme of the day... finish the drive

Dxjhawk

Defense played well enough to win this game. Plain and simple.

Aircapjay

Newman!

Hottrod

DANG!!! SO CLOSE!!! That really hurt...I can't even watch this any more.

Duane Rice

once again the drive stalls in the redzone

Beator

lol Go KU

Lonnie Ross Dillon

sigh

Gabriel Engeland

Well, I was wrong.

Melrank

There was all sorts of craziness on that - jeez!

Jesse Newell

Crist fumble will end this one.

Lajayhawk

Fudge. Only I didn't say fudge.

Gabriel Engeland

Face mask, we're safe.

Gabriel Engeland

a touch more urgency

Beator

go for 2

Hottrod

Come on punch it in!!!!

Jesse Newell

Crist to Pierson gets it down to the 3.

Lajayhawk

Nice check down by Crist

Lajayhawk

I want to punch anyone I see wearing stripes.

Oklahomajayhawk

Ok.....this is finally getting exciting!!!

Jesse Newell

Officials say pass was deflected.

Koolkeithfreeze

Turzilli AWESOME today!!!! And Crist seems to like him...

Jayhawk2181

that's a tough one... he went for the ball... just saying

Beator

*they are

Gabriel Engeland

Now the flags come. Too little.....

1_jaydoc_1

w00t

Lajayhawk

BOOM. Flag.

Jesse Newell

Another PI coming on TCU.

Hottrod

Pass interference!!!

Lajayhawk in reply to Lajayhawk

AND the dude FINALLY made the catch

Beator

their back

Jayhawk2181

finally a catch for a big play

Gabriel Engeland

Nice pass.

Lajayhawk

perfect throw

Jesse Newell

Turzilli finally comes down with a deep one.

Hottrod

Beautiful pass by Crist, why can't the offense always look like this???!!

Jesse Newell

Good throw there. First down for Patterson.

Lajayhawk

Wow. Refs actually made the call...

Jayhawk2181 in reply to Cody Riedy

spot on

Koolkeithfreeze

Hey look, we finally get a call when it no longer matters!!!!

Cody Riedy

KU has looked a lot better at times and has been in a lot better position to make plays this year...so as a fan I feel a different frustration now at least: frustration of missed opportunity rather than absolute ineptitude.

Micky Baker

Not enough this late refs. 3 blatant miscalls!

Hottrod

FInaLLY!

1_jaydoc_1

Would you look t that.

Jesse Newell

Pass interference on TCU will extend this KU drive.

Darin Bradley

Btwn the holding and pass interference we aren't getting any calls today

Jayhawk_from_swks in reply to Thebohawk

Bench Crist, and you have to bench the receivers to. Both share blame.

Micky Baker

One of the refs called the fumble out of the endzone a TD too. Probably the guy that bet on the spread. He should lose money and his job.

Thebohawk in reply to Lajayhawk

Borat Vurrry Nice

Jayhawk2181

refs have missed calls but the offense hasn't closed out their drives or taken advantage of so many opportunities

Thebohawk in reply to 1_jaydoc_1

Yeah.. I love how they have not commited Pass Interference or even Holding all game long... they're flawless I guess

Lajayhawk

Cal is up 1 on Ohio State. Nice.

Duane Rice

Cal just took the lead over ohio state

Thebohawk in reply to Koolkeithfreeze

Charlie won't bench him.. going to be a long season, on offense

1_jaydoc_1 in reply to Hottrod

TCU has gotten away with it about 4 times that I have seen. Refs have been a joke.

Koolkeithfreeze

Nevermind. Scratch that last comment. Crist is just as bad in the hurry-up...

1_jaydoc_1 in reply to Jayhawk2181

I figured

Hottrod

Might have to say there was some pass interference on that last play
