Kansas defeats Washington State, 78-41

FINAL: KU overwhelms Washington State, 78-41
Travis Releford broke a slump with 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting, leading the Kansas men's basketball team to a 78-41 rout over Washington State on Monday night at the CBE Classic at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Releford made two of three three-pointers and also a few two-point jumpers. Coming into the game, he hadn't made a shot outside of a layup, missing three two-point jump shots and all 11 of his three-point attempts.
Perry Ellis added 12 points off the bench with perfect 8-for-8 free-throw shooting, while Ben McLemore hit 11 points on 3-for-6 shooting (2-for-4 from three).
With the victory, the Jayhawks (3-1) advance to face St. Louis the CBE Classic finals at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in K.C.

Agreed. Naadir is in this weird state. He's learning to fight over picks. But at the same time blow-by's one on one keep happening.

White doesn't look horrible. But he does nothing beyond his own defensive space. Nice stroke one time. Not nice stroke the nest time.

WSU has made just 8 of 25 twos (32 percent). And this was a good two-point shooting team coming in.

The defense "looks" pretty uninspired, but its holding WSU to 30% on FGAs, and only 23% from trey.
On the other hand, without Withey's 7 blocks, the disruption stat would look only okay. 6 strips against 6 TOs.

but billy was ONLY a shooter...bmac slashes, rebounds and shoots. I'm not just saying stand out there and throw up treys....I'm talking dunks, 11 ft jumpers and treys.
