FINAL: Jeff Withey posts 18 and 20 as KU takes out Oklahoma State, 81-66
Jeff Withey contributed 18 points, 20 rebounds and seven blocks, leading the Kansas men's basketball team to an 81-66 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.
Withey's previous career-high for rebounds was 13 this year against Long Beach State. The junior had 11 points and 11 rebounds at halftime.
KU was efficient offensively in the first half, making 63 percent of its field goals (19 of 30) to open up a 51-24 halftime lead.
The Jayhawks' second half was sloppier, as KU turned it over 11 times in the final 20 minutes and also made just 11 of 32 shots (34 percent).
Thomas Robinson added 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Tyshawn Taylor (12), Elijah Johnson (11) and Travis Releford (10) also hit double figures.
KU (20-5, 10-2 Big 12) will play at Kansas State at 8 p.m. Monday.
