Digger - the name is "Selby". You get paid to know these things.

B to the P

I wonder if Digger still picks KSU to win the conf. pfft

Nh_jhawk in reply to Aerohawk

absolutely agree Aerohawk. Gotta be up over 70%. 57% is pathetic.

Jonas_opines

Prior to the last 3-4 minutes, I was going to say that the second half was much much better than the first in regards to the TOs. 5-6 a half is pretty good against a solid full court press style team.

Melrank

Kieff did well on the interview - makes me proud.

Aerohawk in reply to Nh_jhawk

That and the free throws. 57% is unacceptable.

Ku_fansince75

Get ready to play, Josh! We really need you!

Waywardjay

NIce GUn show 'Kieff.

Nh_jhawk

Great to beat a ranked opponent. Much better 2nd half execution. Turnovers were unacceptable. If we cut those in half we'd have won in a blowout. Rock Chalk! Fun as always!

Melrank

Aerohawk in reply to Ku_fansince75

and some of the long distance passes are just silly

B to the P

lol Morris waving everyone else down the court then picking up his dribble in the press. #niiiice

Kesmithstl1

why the hell did Keif wave everyone off and then pick up his dribble?

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Taylor with a miss. Markieff with a stickback.

Ku_fansince75

And it is just making stupid passes against the press!

B to the P

cmon!! get the ball to halfcourt! why we pass it to the corner without an outlet in place.... is beyonce me!

Waywardjay

apparently we need another Dagger...... Et Tu Pastner ?

Aerohawk

these turnovers are killing me

B to the P in reply to Jesse Newell

he's turned it into a little more of a jump shot? (Brady)

Jwliddell in reply to Melrank

I was about to say the same thing

Pigballin in reply to B to the P

lol

Kesmithstl1 in reply to Jwliddell

it looks slow too!

Ku_fansince75

I don't about anyone else but I am going for Mich. State!

Melrank in reply to Jwliddell

Memphis has some homely looking cheerleaders.

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff in reply to Kesmithstl1

Lots. I'd say they have two-thirds of the folks here.

Waywardjay

a double double from single 0 is another good sign

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff in reply to Jwliddell

No. We've noticed that he has an extra hitch this year as well.

Kesmithstl1

Jesse, how many Cuse' fans are in the house oh my god oh my god?

Jwliddell in reply to Jesse Newell

I dont know if it's just this year, but Brady's 3 ball looks ugly, even when he makes it. has his stroke always been that awkward?

Pigballin

must be bedtime.

KU almost too unselfish in transition, but Morningstar ends up with an open three that swishes through. Timeout Memphis before the media timeout.

georgia just bought my working girl. But it looks like I might be eating spam!

easy, not just yet ...

Sawman3333

Waiting to hear the Rock Chalk Chant...

B to the P

take away the batch of i'm-nervous-in-MSG turnovers in the first half, and we'd win by 25.

B to the P

WOW are we moving the ball great or what? i love this, even more than the Sherron+Cole game

Waywardjay

there's the wing three.... good shot Brady...still not out of my doghouse yet.

Ku_fansince75

Looks like we are going to be smarter tonight than VS UCLA.

Melrank

SLEEVES!

Kesmithstl1

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

B to the P in reply to Jesse Newell

true... he'd just be adding to his list of missed short shots this game :P glad he followed his shot.

overall, he's had a great game.

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Robinson with a quick drive to the rim, putting in a left-handed layup.

Dnvrhawk

Thomas double double!!!

Jwliddell

Did Keegs pick us to lose to Arizona?

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Reed runs off a steal, but Black two-hands a block out of bounds.

Melrank in reply to Ku_fansince75

My kids have one of those small round trampolines - not tried it, though. Good idea. However, I know I can shoot 58% free throws (at least in my driveway).

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff in reply to B to the P

The move was very under control, though. I think Self could live with the first shot.

B to the P

you BETTER get that rebound, lol Trob

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Robinson misses, but follows his own shot and puts in the stickback.

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Carmouche left alone for a three from the corner. He makes it.

Ku_fansince75 in reply to Melrank

Sometimes I need a little trampoline!

Kesmithstl1

wasn't Carmuche a character in "All the right moves"?

Waywardjay

was hoping for the wing three from Tyrel.

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Markieff called for an illegal screen. That's his fourth foul. He was playing well, too.

Jwliddell in reply to Melrank

In college I could "dunk" on the goals at Robinson. It was more of a layup/hang on the rim

Jayjocker

Relelford needs minutes

Waywardjay

dagger....

Melrank

Tough crowd - I can dunk on an 8' goal (sometimes).

Ku_fansince75

Possessions becoming very valuable now!

great play game's far from over though... holding my breath

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Marcus lobs to Markieff, who dunks it in.

Ahpersecoachingexperience in reply to Ku_fansince75

Lol

Melrank in reply to Ku_fansince75

:)

Nh_jhawk

did I just see that correctly? KU ranked 258th for free throw shooting % this year? Terrible....

Ku_fansince75

I will say this----Memphis is a young team---I would hate to play them in a year or two!

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

Taylor makes the first, misses the second.

Jwliddell in reply to Melrank

Adjusted down to 6 probably! LOL ... my nephew made his off my shoulders!

Kesmithstl1

Marcus needs to be careful

B to the P in reply to Jesse Newell

way underrated aspect of the game. key to winning in March!

Ku_fansince75 in reply to Melrank

You mean 6' goal, right? LOL!

Melrank in reply to Jwliddell

I missed one like that last week on my adjustable 8' goal :)

Jesse Newell KUsports.com staff

KU beating Memphis at its own game by having guards drive to draw fouls.

Pigballin

Finally Taylor has been taking it to the basket..

Ku_fansince75 in reply to Jwliddell

I wish I could just get up in the air!

Ku_fansince75

Time to say goodbye Memphis----slam the door. I have a message for MemphisMachine-------it's time!

Jwliddell

oops, that didn't mean to be a reply =/

Melrank

What happened to the FT shooting team that was blowing out Longwood and shooting 85%? My 10 year old daughter can shoot em that good - jeesh!

Jwliddell in reply to Melrank

I wish I could miss a dunk like that
