Kansas coach Bill Self talks following the Jayhawks' 83-79 victory over the Swiss national team on Aug. 8, 2012.
Kansas University red-shirt freshman Ben McLemore started but played just five minutes in Wednesday’s game because of a nagging injury.
The Kansas men's basketball team rallied from a four-point deficit with 2:55 left, scoring 14 of the game's final 20 points to take an 83-79 victory over the Swiss national team on Wednesday night in Fribourg, Switzerland.
For the second straight game, Kevin Young made key plays down the stretch, putting in a tip to tie it with less than a minute left before putting in a transition to put KU up by two with 13 seconds left.
The Swiss missed a long three, and Andrew White got the rebound and made both free throws after getting fouled to put it away with 2.6 seconds left.
White led KU with 16 points, while Elijah Johnson had 14. Young posted 12 points, and Withey added 10.
KU's next game is against a French pro team at 1 p.m. Saturday in Paris.
