At this point, it’s probably safe to pencil in Christian Matthews for a big play in next year’s spring game, too.
Christian Matthews hauled in a 53-yard touchdown catch, and Toben Opurum provided consistent pressure during the Blue team's 17-6 victory at the Kansas football spring game on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
KU coach Turner Gill after the game said that if he had to give an edge to one of his quarterbacks, he'd give it to sophomore Jordan Webb over Quinn Mecham.
Gill also said he thought his offensive line and linebackers stood out during the spring game.
